Although we are located just south of the Arctic Circle, where the sun does technically set, it stays so close to the horizon that the nights remain bathed in light. This creates a unique and surreal atmosphere, especially around midnight, when the sun hovers just beneath the horizon, casting a golden glow over the landscape.
